Hi, I'm Audrey Saing!
I'm a transdisciplinary designer and researcher. I aspire to build a career that merges empathetic design thinking, research, collective care, and radical social change. In June 2025, I will graduate from the UO Clark Honors College with a BFA in Product Design and a minor in Global Health. My honors thesis will use biomechanical and plantar pressure data from my time at the Bowerman Sports Science Center to inform female-centric soccer gear design. Meanwhile, I hope to explore participatory action research in my product design capstone.
As a second-generation Cambodian immigrant, I advocate for collective care. I'm currently writing an article on marginalized perspectives for The Design Weave. When I'm not designing, I enjoy playing soccer, trying new fruits, cooking with my little sisters, supporting women's sports, and taking midnight mindfulness walks. I'm looking to get involved in collaborative design environments, service design, and community organizing.
